Summer has started ,so soon find a place in terrace to prepare appalam,vadam etc.
The vadam and appalams are easy to learn and now a days we dont find time to do it ourselves.
The traditional one is called "Nazhi" which has got different shapes and which is used to do rice vadams.
The simplest one is "Javvarisi vadam".
Ingredients.
1 or 1/2 kg sago
salt
water
lemon juice
chillies
Prepartaion:
1.Soak the sago overnight in a vessel with water filled in it.
2.Then the next morning grind chillies according to taste and add salt and mix water and keep in kadai and cook the sabudhana .
3.When it comes like porridge form put off flame and take a sheet and then with long spatula keep one one in that sheet ,spreaded like .
4.After a day take and dry it for 3 -4 days.
Colours can be added if necessary.
