Rajma or kidney beans

Rajma which is one of my favourite and the colour of rajma always attracts and love to prepare the sabji of rajma.
In north india this is one of the most preferred and often cooked in houses.
It takes less time to prepare this .

Ingredients
1.Rajma or kidney beans
2.Chopped onoins, tomato
3.Tomato puree
4.Turmeric podwer
5.Rajmah masala
6.Chilli powder
7.Garam masala -if needed
8.Salt to taste
9.green chillies
10.Coriander leaves for garnishing
11.Elaichi,bay leaves,cloves-for flavour

Method:
1.Soak the rajma overnight and drain the water before using.
2.Then prepare tomato puree and keep aside
3.In a pan add oil,add powdered masala mentioned in (9) chopped onions and tomato ,chillies and then tomato puree.
4.cook for sometime and then turmeric powder,salt and rajmah masala ,garam masala and then add the soaked kidney beans and then  pressure it,so that the essence will be evenly spreaded and check the beans whether it is cooked.
5.Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve with parathas.
6.Can be served with hot rice also.

Note:I follow the method of cooking in pressure cooker by adding all the ingredients and rajma and pressure it ,few  add soaked beans with  gravy and cook by closing with lid.
one can opt for either of these two method.

add little  water if necessary while cooking ,so that beans get cooked easily.
