This is one of the recipe which we did for aadi month which is very auspicious tamil month and we do poojas and so on.
So my mil had just come and tried this and came out well and tasty.
very simple and easy recipe.
For pooran or pooranam.
1.Grate the carrot and keep aside.
2.Grate coconut and keep aside.
3.Then in kadai add some ghee ,let it melt and some some atta and let it become brown colour and keep it aside.
4.Add one small cup of water and add carrot and cook it,then add the grated coconut,sugar 2 -3 cups and the atta and little milk if necessary and then keep stirring ,add ghee and when it is not sticking to pan then remove from flame and keep it.
For the outer poli
1.Mix maida and some water and make as little loose batter,add refined oil and let it stay for 2 hours.
Preparation:
1.Take small ball of maida batter and spread it and then fill the pooran in it and place a cover on top and bottom and prepare poli so that it comes evenly on all sides.
2.Then cook in dosa tawa and serve it.
