Lauki or bottle guord is available more in northern India and it is very good for health because of its watery content.
Kofta is also very easy to prepare,one can prepare aloo kofta,lauki,raw banana kofta etc.
Here I have shared the lauki kofta recipe.
For Koftas:
1.Peel the skin and grate the lauki and squeeze the excess water.
2.Then add salt,chilli powder,garam masala powder,chillies,besan and make a mix.
3.Then in a pan heat oil and then make small balls and fry the kofta.
note: do not make the kofta ball so hard by adding more besan,it should be little sticky and when frying it gets cooked and it will be tasty in gravy also.
For gravy
1.Chop onions and tomato and grind in mixer and add oil in pan and add jeera,and the puree ,little turmeric,salt,chilli powder and let it cook for sometime.
2.Thickness will come and add koftas before serving and garnish with dhania leaves.
3.If one needs they can add ginger garlic paste also.
